RE: U.S. Grand Prix
I have been to every USGP since they came back to US and they have all been an absolute pleasure with the exception of this past one and it was enjoyable up to green flag. The event does not cost any more than any of the NASCAR events, CHAMP/CART or IRL. I go to about 12 different events each year and the only ones that are abit cheaper are Sebring and 24 hours of Daytona (or maybe I just think I get a better deal since I spread the cost over more hours).
Indy really takes care of USGP patrons with walkarounds of the pits on Thursdays and drive arounds after the events after you buy your next years tickets (they cancelled that this year for obvious reasons). And they sent a very nice letter that said I did not have to do anything to get my refund for tickets from this past years event. Hopefully next year will be much better as folks try to 'kiss up' to their biggest single race.
