idealy it should be about 80*C. However, if you're in high traffic and not moving much, it can go up as much as 100*C. Anything more than that, I would be worried about if driven for a while. Anytime the engine is hot, pull over and turn off the car and let it cool off.

If someone has problems with water temp, it could be the following things

1) water pump being bad
2) stuck thermostat
3) in need of a coolant flush (important to use mercedes/porsche coolant, and not some green crap)
