Well, the point is $$$$$ - tap another niche market and capture sales that would have gone elsewhere. Apparently the GST is not going to be as plentiful as the ML and will be priced accordingly to be the upscale, exclusive people mover. The van for people who would not be caught dead driving a minivan. The Wagon for people who don't like the stigma of a wagon. The SUV for people who don't want an SUV that looks like everyone else's SUV on the road.
