When I read that he "gave up millions" in the subject, I was thinking that he donated the millions to the poor, but now I see his kids got an early inheritance, and now this cult of priests has to clothe, feed, and house this old man till he dies. Wouldn't the millions have gone much further in helping the poor?
Can you ever get fired from a "job" like that? I mean, if he doesn't help the poor to the priests satisfaction shouldn't they throw him out? What happens when he gets old and frail, does the church take care of his medical needs? Maybe that's what I should do when I retire since I won't have enough $$ saved up anyway, just go join some order or something. I know I could fake the churchy stuff enough to stay in their good graces unless I talk in my sleep or something.[:D] |
