I'm about to tune up my 1990 300E 2.6L, I see the plugs listed for my car (thanx Teky), but what about the Iridium or Platinum Plus-Four spark plugs or similar "advanced technology" spark plugs? What about using aftermarket "low-resistance" spark-plug wires? I'm experienced at running high performance motors, but new to MB so I'd like to be set straight so I start out on the right foot.
