| RE: Programming MASTER KEY Thank you both. I knew that wasn't right. Apparently, the MB dealer that I went to seems to have a "different policy" than other dealers (seems odd, doesn't it?) I had called different dealers (L.A. and San Diego) and they program it for free, even if you only ordered the infrared with the blade.
I called a different MB dealer - but still local - and they did not charge. In fact, one of the Parts Department associates told me over the phone how to program it myself. And it only took me less than 2 minutes. That MB dealer will be my last resort if any issues come up again. I've found a new MB dealer, and it's still local. |
