Vacum check

Did anybody have knowledge about a full check up of the vacum system. What should I do. I suspect a vacum leak that is making tha trany to shift hard and also the door locks to act a bit delayed. Also the vents are acting a bit abnormal. What tools I shoud use? What is the normal value of the vacum in the system(mm Hg)?
