It's not in the manual .......

You can do a “System Reset� from the “Diagnosis� screen in “Service� mode. To get to the Diagnosis screen go to the SVC (or SYS on Euro versions) screen and select AUX. Press the “MUT� (mute), “1�, and “3� buttons all at the same time for about 5 seconds … this will take you to a Service screen. Select “Diagnosis�, and then select “System Reset�. I will keep my fingers crossed for you but the CD players are known for problems from time to time.
