You can drop in a 500 motor for the time being. If the tranny is still good it will bold up to the factory 500 setup and you'll get faster shifts under full throttle. The only difference in the AMG modified tranny for the M117 was the valve body was redone with a different spring setup for faster shifts. The 4v heads should go with a 5.0 block but I would do much more research on that. Try contacting omegabenz on this forum, he knows a lot about the old Hammers. You'll need to use the intake manifold from the AMG motor as well. Gaskets are a huge pain to find anywhere. Let me know if you find any! I don't think the ECU would be much different than a regular 500. The ECU for the 5.6 is definitely different for the slightly different fuel injection setup. Hope this is of some help.
