Welcome to the forum sandcuser! Assuming a 50/50 water & antifreeze mix, I'd think the temperature gauge should ride around 70 -- 80. That's a guesstimate mind you. [:)]
The question is what is your temperature gauge currently telling you? Here's a alternative that several owners have taken to lower their engine temperatures. Note what the author states MB has told him about higher engine temperatures...
