| god i heard the reason why a long time ago, and my memory is not what it used to be [B)] but if i recall it was something about it being silicon based and the uv protection not being up to snuff. If I remember correctly it actually in the long run the dash crack sooner than w/o it.
The stuff i use is Vinylex, sometimes a bit of a challenge to find, but usually pep boys has it. Im sure the stuff that Zaino makes is good as well.
