Howdy Eric. I've been trying to get a VIN decded but all the normal avenues have failed and my Russian sucks (to say the least)! I'm in Calgary Ab and (of course) EPC won't work for us North of the 49th. Can you help?

Hi Eric, sorry was travelling... Actually the comand was working and I have added Sound System in the D2B ring by mistake, then I realise that I don't have Bose amp on my car. My sound output from Comand is Analog. I seems like the comand is locked to digital sound out for which reason I don't get sound on my speakers. Although if I'm tuning the Radio, it gives me the beep but no sound from speakers for music. Also the Bass and treble settings are locked. Fader controls are locked as well. Is there anything I can do to open up the comand and reset it or something.

hey i hate to add to the long list of people constantly bothering you but i was wondering if you knew if the output flanges on the 722.6xx transmissions are interchangeable? i ordered a used tranny with the 4 bolt design but my driveshaft utilizes the 3 bolt design....

i found a schematic that shows the 722.9 can interchange this output flange but i haven't found anything regarding the 722.6. thanks in advance if you have any info on this subject

Thanks Eric for your reply. I tried that still it is not coming out of that mode. If I try to tune the radio preset, I can hear the beep but no sound for anything else. The TONE controls and the FADER controls are locked as well. I feel that the unit thinks that the sound should be going through the Bose Amp, which I don't have on my Car. This was been set by mistake while setting up D2B ring. Since then this problem came up. Is there anything else I can try to get this sound back through Analog output.

Hi Eric, I have been referred to you for my the problem I have with my comand. It's a Japanese comand was working fine when i connected to my c230 w203 coupe. Then I connected it to STAR and said will change the optical ring. After this the sound went to mute mode and CD changer is not accessible, Tone controls and Fader locked. Do you have any tips where I can reset it to its original position or I can go into the Engineering menu by any chance. PLEASE HELP. Thanks

Hi Eric have any suggestions about my broblems with Häkkinen and how to solve it´s history. I wrote yesterday :Hi all W168 lovers. I`ve W168, 1998, edition Häkkinen, number 116/250. Car is first register maybe in Denmark atleast all owner manual are in Dainish. I´m very intrested if someone has any history information of the car. You can see the pictures in my file photo callery. Other bigger problem is cruiser. Some owner had installd the original cruiser "stik" but it vas not assambled. I took car to local "Mersu" importers servise and they installed the wires but it did´t work. They said that I´ll have to by a new box and some parts to acceleraitor system and that vill cost about 7000 euros + work. Can that be true. Any information vill make me happy. Have a sunnu spring.
