| 2002 Bi-Xenon retrofit (again)

First of all, thanks to Wolfgang for the wiring diagram [http://www.whnet.com/4x4/bixenon.txt] - this really explains things well. So, all the magic electronic wizardry is contained in the headlamp units. Nice!<br>

Now, before taking a deep breath and ordering for nearly US$ 2K worth of headlights, the only things remaining to be checked are the 'old' pinouts (vehicle side) - easy, and the 'new' ones (this will be tricky - even my otherwise friendly dealer will probably not bee too keen on me messing around with a multimeter in the showroom - maybe someone has better connections and can help out???).<br>

On the 2002 model I checked earlier this week, I noted that the wiring leading to the headlights seemed quite a bit thinner than on my 2001 model. Is this because the power draw of the Bi-Xenons is lower, or is this a case of 'cost optimization'??<br>
