| 1982 380SL QUESTION
OK<p>I am sorry I am asking lots of questions but very new to this SL world.<br>I was told by my MB mechanic that I should stay clear of the 75 I was looking at.<br>I now found a what seems to be a very nice 82 380SL in red, the color I was looking for.<br>The car was taken care of very well and it recently (10,000 miles ago) had the dual timing chain installed.<br>The only problem that he told me about is that he ripped the passenger side plastic window the last time he put the top down. I am not sure if that can be fixed.<br>The car has 87K miles on it.<p>What does everyone think of this and what do you think it is worth.<p>No rust, no dents or dings, everything works.<p>Thanks once again.<p>Ed |
