Quality towels carry a label offering their material makeup. Maybe you might feel a bit reserved about stopping outside such a shop in a Merc., so perhaps take an Asian make or ride a bicycle. Don't forget though that the label is not identifying itself as 100% cotton.
You'll save both on Dawn and serging and never again have to overly concerned about wash-rinse-spin cycles.
