Since the exterior of my car only sees microfiber towels, or 100% cotton high quality bath towels with the trim removed and the edges serged, thats not a great option for me. Alot of towels have polyester in them for durability which is a no-no on the surface of your car.
I would never use some random towel that I dont know what its made of or where its been, on the surface of my car.
