Chamois are a OK thing to dry your car with. I dont like them, They dry hard, are smelly, and dont easily get into crackas and crevices.
I use a big blue drying towel from Classic Motoring Accesories or A Micro Fiber Drying Towel from Griots Garage. I think that they are the best towels for drying...bar none. I can dry my whole ML with one towel after sheat beading the car.
If you dont know what sheet beading is, its when your done washing, you take off your hose nozzle and start at the top of each panel and "feed" the sheet as it goes down. This practice leaves my car almost dry before drying.
I would reccomend both of the towels equally, I find that they both work exceptionally well. I do feel like the Griots Garage version is a little more "substantial" and has pockets for your hands while you dry.
